Community Star Award
The First Star Bank Community Star Award is designed to recognize Lehigh Valley area community leaders --teachers, coaches, volunteers, etc. --anyone who you feel makes a difference in the local community and commits their time and talent to make the Lehigh Valley a better place!
Prior to one home game each month throughout the season, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs will recognize a local Lehigh Valley area community star, presented by First Star Bank. Five community members will be recognized throughout the season.
To be considered, a nominee should…
• Have a proven track record of dedication, service, and commitment to the community, investing their time and talent to assist others in some type of teaching, coaching, mentoring, or group leadership capacity.
Nomination forms will be available on the IronPigs website at ironpigsbaseball.com, at the IronPigs Administrative Offices, the Coordinated Health Fan Services Center at Coca-Cola Park, or any First Star Bank location.
Nominations will be accepted throughout the 2009 season, with a deadline of August 15th, 2009.
A panel of representatives from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and First Star Bank will review the nominations and notify the winners.
